We are proud to welcome the latest group of employers who have become full Members of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.

In our newest video, James Bull, Regional Organiser for UNISON North West and a member of the Charter’s Board, introduces these four organisations. Each has gone beyond making a commitment and shown they meet the Charter’s high standards in areas such as secure work, fair pay, and excellent people management.

Let’s welcome our newest Members:

Together, these employers support nearly 7,500 employees, helping to create better jobs and fairer opportunities for thousands of people across our city-region.

This latest cohort reflects the Charter’s growing reach. From engineering and digital innovation to healthcare and consultancy, these organisations show how good employment can thrive across every sector.

Congratulations to our new Members. Thank you to all our Supporters and Members who continue to lead the way in championing good employment across Greater Manchester.

We are extremely proud of this achievement. Our culture is something we’ve worked hard to protect and nurture, especially as our team has grown significantly over the past year. We’re fully committed to creating a culture that values and respects the unique perspectives, experiences and backgrounds of all our people, so they feel seen for who they are as an individual.
Manchester is where Civic began its journey more than 10 years ago, and we are passionate about our responsibility to leave a positive legacy - in our work, in our neighbourhoods across Greater Manchester, and for the next generation. Our aim is to help people lead happier, healthier lives. This is our conscience and what it means to be team Civic - of the place and the people.
